In the case of DF, the investment amount will be R$180 million. Selina said she has already met with Goiás representatives to incorporate the initiative into the state’s budget.

“Rodoanelle will solve the problem of truck traffic on major thoroughfares like Epia. It will eliminate truck traffic that competes with public transport and enters the city during peak hours. The project has already been completed and this is the first step. We are in contact with the state of Goiás so that construction can start next year,” the deputy governor said in an interview.
According to Selina, the length of Rodoanelle, including the ring and viaduct, will be 40 to 50 kilometers. The construction period is expected to take approximately one and a half to two years.
