The popular Prime Video series Tremembe briefly mentions Lindenberg Fernández Alves, the murderer of Eloa Pimentel, but does not discuss his life in prison.
One of these points is exactly his greatest fear. Eloa’s father, the hired hitman Everardo Pereira dos Santos, is mentioned in Ulises Campbell’s book Tremembe, which inspired the creation of the work of the same name.

Eloa Pimentel incident
- On October 13, 2008, Lindenberg, then 22, broke into the home of his ex-girlfriend, Eloa Cristina Pimentel, 15.
- He held Eloa and his friend Nayara in a private prison for more than 100 hours.
- When police entered the apartment, Lindenberg shot and killed the hostage. Nayara suffered facial injuries and Eloa lost consciousness and was taken to hospital.
- The girl was shot twice and died several hours later.
- Lindenberg was sentenced to 98 years and 10 months in prison. In 2013, his sentence was commuted to 39 years and three months.
- Lindenberg is imprisoned in Tremembe, in the interior of São Paulo.
Eloa’s father
The fallout from Eloa’s kidnapping and murder, which still generates criticism due to its huge media impact and the fallout surrounding the case, led to the arrest of her father, hired killer Everardo Pereira. At that time he was using the name Aldo Jose da Silva.
This is because during the media coverage of the Eloa incident, Everardo appeared to be unwell and was being treated in an ambulance.
This incident prompted the Alagoas state police, who had been investigating the extermination group Gang Fardada, of which Everardo was a member, to resume their search for the man. A sign near the killer’s nose contributed to his recognition.

The hired killer was convicted in 1991 of murdering Alagoas Civil Police Chief Ricardo Ressa and his driver. He had just been arrested in Maceio in December 2009. Everard served his sentence in a closed system until 2014, when he was transferred to a public system in the latter half of the year.
In 2023, Everardo’s lawyer, Thiago Pinheiro, told G1: “He has been in the semi-open regime since 2014. I have already submitted several applications to him for a reduction in the semi-open regime, but the court has not yet granted it. He is living peacefully with his family in São Paulo and hopes to be able to live a free life soon.”
Lindenberg’s Terror
In his book Tremenbe, Ulisses Campbell details Eloa’s greatest fear of the murderer. While in prison, Lindenberg impersonates his ex-stepfather out of fear.
“He believes that his tormentors are always on guard, patrolling around Tremembe, ready to carry out their plans for revenge,” Ulisses says in the story.
