The Generation Purpose Program of the Princess of Girona Foundation concluded its fourth edition with the opening of a campus in the Costa Brava hub of Lloret de Mar (Girona), where 50 young people were able to integrate learning in leadership, innovation and social entrepreneurship and work on the development of proposals.
From 6 to 9 November, participants took part in debates on global challenges and geopolitics, workshops to address “critical” competencies, training in “soft skills” and meetings with innovation and social entrepreneurship experts and Princess of Girona laureates, the foundation reported in a statement this Monday.
The 50 young people will be selected from among the 100 who took part in the program’s first training phase, and will have the opportunity to work with their peers on this campus to integrate their proposals and “strengthen the skills needed to drive and lead towards implementation.”
On 6 November, a debate on global issues and geopolitics was held, moderated by Ramon Rovira, Deputy Director General and Head of Institutional Relations at Grupo Godo, and attended by journalists Anna Bosch (TVE), Mark Bassets (El País), Gemma Saura (La Vanguardia), and criminal lawyer Mark Molins.
These four days of work resulted in more than a dozen social impact initiatives. Five of these will be shortlisted and will give you the opportunity to access the final stages of the program with personalized support.
Purpose Generation is a program of the Princess of Girona Foundation aimed at young people aged 20 to 30 with “social leadership potential”, offering skills development, group mentoring, networking and the opportunity to promote ideas that have a social impact and turn them into real projects.
